Hey Family,

Just hear back stage at the TAKE MY HAND benefit concert to celebrate the life and journey of Ali Shapiro. What a remarkable SHERO. Although she has went on to meet our maker, she did so much work while she was here to inspire us all to do more to make a difference. Cancer is no joke and so many young people are not getting the attention needed to simply feel normal throughout their fight. I'm just back here getting my mind right and voice ready to sing not only for Ali but also from a VERY personal place...

A special thank you to Shain Shapiro and the Lady herself Pam Shainhouse for inviting me to be apart of such a beautiful night. Keep doing wonderful work. And Thank You Ail. You will never be forgotten.

I had blogged a week ago about coming and telling you all about my Hong Kong trip but then I had to take a moment to get focused on this music and get back into THE LAB... So your girl has been getting her workout on but this time I decided to spend the year hitting it at least 3 days a week and really focus on the food aspect. My band is into health and fitness also so that makes it a lot easier when we're on the road. Hong Kong was a bit hard on the food... But we made it work. Besides, the shows and fans made up for anything that could have been an environmental challenge : )

I met a wonderful woman named Linda today at sound check and she just beamed such beautiful energy and told me out the blue that this year things are going to take off for me. It felt like a prophesy I can't lie. She worked with Dolly Parton Back in the day and shared a parallel that Dolly and I share in not racing to become a mother because both her and I had to help raise children at a young age so it actually feels like we've already been Moms...Dolly in fact decided to not have children... I'm still thinking one child and a dog some day... SOME DAY... Not any time soon. I have hearts to mend and lives to inspire via my music. No time to be changing pampers right now. I barely have time to scoop my puppies poop hence why she lives with grandma...

God is not slow in keeping his promise, so Keep on Keep on.
