Joining Elton John will be New York art pop act Scissor Sisters, stylish R&B revivalist Janelle Monae, and Canadian pop artists Keshia Chante, Serena Ryder, Jully Black, Anjulie, Diamond Rings, Molly Johnson, Divine Brown, Shawn Desman, Stephan Moccio, Sky Ferreira, Aleesia, Mia Martina, Billy Newton Davis, Carole Pope, Kreesha Turner, Jarvis Church, Elise Legrow and Midway State.
What would Fashion Cares be without the clothes? Look for runway presentations by Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh, Indian designer Manish Arora, as well as the Canadian fashion houses Greta Constantine, Pink Tartan and DSQUARED2.
Also featured will be Comrags, David Dixon, Elie Saab, Farley Chatto, Hoax Couture, Izzy Camilleri, Joeffer Caoc, Marty Rotman, Mercy, Pat McDonagh, Sandra Rabasca, Stephane Rollande, Susan Dicks, The Blondes, Valencienne and Welly.
Anyone who remembers his stage shows from the 1970s knows that Elton John was a fashion show unto himself. Two dozen of his outfits will be on display, including clothes by Bob Mackie, Versace, Annie Reavey, Tommy Nutter and Richard James.
